The Paloma’s origins are hazy, but its rise is tied to Mexico’s mid-century grapefruit sodas. It is now arguably Mexico’s favorite tequila highball.

  • 12 oz blanco tequila
  • 21/2 oz lime juice
  • 3Grapefruit soda
  • 4Pinch of salt
