French and British sugar estates created Mauritius's rum culture. The island's Ti Punch adds local cane spirit and, at times, its Indian Ocean vanilla.

  • 12 oz Mauritian cane rum
  • 21/4 oz cane syrup
  • 3Lime coin
  • 4Vanilla, optional
