Manhattan: White Glove
New York, United States America/New_York
History
Born in New York in the late 1800s, the Manhattan became the defining whiskey-and-vermouth cocktail, despite a colorful club-origin story that is probably fiction. This is a clearly labeled house field riff rather than a historical classic: Elderflower brings a perfumed, polished accent suited to a diplomatic reception.
