Daiquiri: Golden Cipher

Santiago de Cuba, Cuba America/Havana

History

Named for a Cuban mining village, the drink was popularized around 1898 by American engineer Jennings Cox and later refined in Havana. This is a clearly labeled house field riff rather than a historical classic: Honey rounds the edges with floral sweetness and a longer finish.
